Fitness Programs

We have a comprehensive free weight room, cardiovascular center and circuit training room. Included with our membership we provide demos on all of our equipment. It is a great way to get started or for the experienced fitness person a great way to refresh your routine! Call the Fitness Department to schedule your training sessions today.

In our Fitness and TRX/SYNRGY studio we have Fitness classes for all ages starting in Middle School to adults and seniors!

Our Group Fitness  and Indoor Cycling schedules have a huge selection of classes to choose-all are part of your membership!

Health Coaching
Work one on one with Denise Bloom, Certified Health Coach to facilitate sustainable changes that can lead to weight loss, healthy eating, regular physical activity and improved overall well-being. This program will provide the tools you need to make positive, long term healthy changes. It is designed to help individuals adopt healthy habits, learn about nutrition and develop the skills to modify behavior, manage stress, achieve work/life balance and fend off preventable diseases. Denise does a physical assessment, food journal analysis, nutrition coaching, one on one fitness programs/personal training, and weekly follow ups. Members fee: $70/hour

Indoor Cycling
All our Indoor Cycling classes are included in your membership! There are 4 different types of classes: Endurance, Interval, Strength, and Race Day. Sign up with the front desk. If you have never done an Indoor Cycling class at the Witherell Recreation Center before, please sign up for an orientation with cheryl.bush@joinccba.org

Off-Season Sport Conditioning
Get your team off to a strong start! Off-Season conditioning is a must if you want to build team camaraderie, decrease the likelihood of injuries, and be able to spend more time on skills than conditioning once the season begins! With a progressive regimen of cardiovascular, strength, flexibility and plyometric training, we can help give you a competitive edge! Savvy Seniors Exercise Program
Those 55 and older please join us for light aerobics and strengthening exercises in a fun and friendly environment. Great for those wanting to get more active or those that want to continue.
Class meets Tuesdays & Fridays from 8:00-9:00 am.

Tai Chi Chuan w/Ban Sou
Tai Chi Chuan is an ancient Chinese martial art that employs slow rhythmic movements (soft form) to develop strength, balance, coordination, and unification of the mind and body. The goal is to increase the flow of the body internal energy (Chi) throughout the body. Classes are Tuesdays from 5:45-7:45 pm

TRX/SYNRGY - Now Part Of Your Membership!
Experience a workout like no other! Our TRX/SYNRGY classes use a combination of body weight exercises to increase strength, stability, range of motion, flexibility, core strength, stamina and power. Schedule can be found on our Group Fitness Schedule.

Youth Fitness Program
Who: Youth 7th & 8th grades
This is a 6-week, twice-per-week exercise program. An initial assessment is given which includes strength, flexibility and cardiovascular testing. Then, with the help of a Fitness Instructor, you set individual fitness goals. The first 4 weeks of the program focus on circuit training exercises and CV work. In week 5, you are introduced to exercises in the Free Weight room. By the end of the 6th week, you have a complete personalized strength & conditioning program and are ready to exercise on your own.
