SPINNING® Rules and Procedures
A SPINNING® orientation is required for anyone who has never taken a SPINNING® class at the Witherell Center. Contact Patti Friedman, Associate Director to schedule an orientation. We will go over bike settings, the five basic skills used during class & the use of a heart rate monitor. Orientations are FREE and require only 30 minutes of your time.
1. Water bottle(s) and heart rate monitors are required to SPIN.
2. Participants arriving more than ten minutes after the class has begun cannot participate.
3. Participants are asked to not leave early as a proper cool down period is required for safe exercise.
4. In the event of a “No Show,” a charge of $8.00 will be issued. This charge needs to be paid prior to signing up for another class. (You will be charged, even if you are a Pass or Punch Card holder or a Preferred member.)
5. Members can sign up 48 hours in advance of a class.
